What do these numbers mean?
- Expectancy
- Your average result per trade after wins and losses. Positive means each trade makes money on average.
- Breakeven win rate
- The win rate you need just to break even, based on your average win and loss sizes. Yours is 64.3%.
- Profit factor
- Total dollars won divided by total dollars lost. Above 1.0 means you’re profitable. 1.5 or higher means your wins clearly outweigh your losses, which is a common sign of a reliable edge.
- Payoff ratio
- Average win divided by average loss. Below 1.0 means your wins are smaller than your losses, so you need a high win rate.
- Max drawdown
- The biggest drop from a high point in your account before it recovered.
- Recovery factor
- Net profit divided by max drawdown. Higher means you earn back drops faster.
